In order to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping's cultural thoughts, deepen exchanges and cooperation among cultural and museum units, further improve the level of cultural and museum work, and promote the high-quality development of cultural and museum undertakings, on July 24, the Aksai Kazakh Autonomous County Museum and the Dunhuang Yangguan Museum carried out an inter-museum exchange activity with the theme of "Tracing the Silk Road Culture and Exploring the Ancient Yangguan Road".

Aksai Kazakh Autonomous County (Aksai County for short) belongs to Jiuquan City, Gansu Province. It is located at the intersection of Gansu, Qinghai and Xinjiang provinces (regions). It is the only ethnic minority autonomous county in Gansu Province with Kazakhs as the main ethnic group, and it is also one of the three Kazakh autonomous counties in the People's Republic of China.

The children of the Kazakh and Han ethnic groups performed unique and vivid performances. Among them, their cheerful and jumping black horse dance, dancing like a galloping horse, showed the profound nomadic culture of the Kazakh people; and the fashion show allowed the children to show their own fashion style with confident steps. In addition, their sweet singing and affectionate recitation pushed the atmosphere of the scene to a climax. These lively and interesting performances not only showed the rich and colorful cultural characteristics of the two ethnic groups, but also won the warm attention and applause of the audience and tourists.

The tour guides of the Aksai County Museum explained the intangible cultural heritage of Aksai to the tourists, promoted Aksai's cultural tourism resources in depth, and distributed small gifts to the tourists.

This inter-library exchange has deepened the understanding of cultural and museum work in the two places, promoted friendship between cultural and museum colleagues, and learned each other's work experience, which plays an important role in strengthening inter-library resource sharing and mutual exchange. It is conducive to promoting the high-quality development of cultural and museum undertakings in the two places and helping the construction of the "Greater Dunhuang Cultural Tourism Economic Circle".
